So here we have Nani. (to the left)She is super sweet. She is smiling here. She is about 90% blind, but she has such a good spirit. Her and I have bonded. She seems to really enjoy being here. She perks up when we say her name and out in the yard she likes to play, be petted, roll around, and go through your legs. S
Then we have "Duke' (to the right) here I photo'd him just chillin' out while I was cleaning out the kennles. You can see is lying on his favorite toy, his purple raccoon. He is more of a people person. But, we have gotten him out there within his comfort zone and with guest that are more mellow like him. He tolerated China. But, China just wanted to go go go and have fun. He hung out a bit with "Buttons" aka "Fendi", and likes to hang out with Nani. Duke is leaving us today. I know he will be happy to see his mom.
Then we have Mimi and Koa. Super fun dogs. They listen well and walk well on the leash. They too have made the ol' camper shell a favorite hang out. They too are pretty mellow. Koa will chase the ball, but no so much return it. He runs to it and then looks at you like, "well come and get it"...funny. They too are going home today. Actually we had them an extra day as their owners stayed an extra day in Wailea. We didn't mind, as we have enjoyed them hanging out with us and our other doggy guests.
Today, we will receive two more guests...Bamboo and Cody. They will be here for about two weeks. Can't wait to see them.
Soon we will be posting here and on the website that we will be having dog training classes
by Todd Wong. He has an extensive dog training history and currently is the Kanine trainer for the Maui Police Department. Keep checking back for more information. If you are interest, please send us an email of what type of dog you have, type of training your are interested in, and where you live.
Aloha!!
