Catching up

Aloha Everyone!
Just catching up with the blog, between power outage and my desk top catching a horrible virus...has prohibited me from posting photos.
I am hoping this laptop can do the trick until I get my computer fixed or get a new one....
Anyhoo........
Maile and Hula have since left and we miss them. They were very fun girls, well behaved and played very well. Kolohe has also left, but we know we will see him again soon.Chloe was happy to meet Pepito. But, she also got to play with a puppy, named "Puppy", who came here for Doggy day care. The puppy definitely gave her some excersize.
We also have a couple very fun and very cool dogs, Grizzly and Kona. Grizzly will be here for a while. Kona is a white lab who just moved here from Georgia. He loves loves loves to play ball...or play anything. Him and Grizzly are starting to hang out together. They both have mellow personalities. Chloe and Pepito just cruise around with them, when we are not playing ball or chase. Bella, has some sore hips...so she loves her special place under the tree to lay in the sun and relax. We want to make sure the others don't cause her any discomfort as she likes to try and play.

Maile and Hula join us.

Maile and Hula are our newests guests who are here for a few days while their mom and dad are on Oahu. They are super sweet girls. Hula likes to talk, and Maile loves to play fetch. She is very very good a bringing the ball back and puts it right at your feet. They love their fish oil vitamins. I have never seen a dog who eats them like treats. Certainly makes it easy.

Lola and Cashmere left yesterday. Chloe is very sad about that. She is a little mopey today. She had a blast playing with them, especially Cashmere. They would just play and chase each other. It was pretty cute. But, Chloe will have Pepito in a couple days to play with as Bella and Pepito are returning. I know Pepito will be excited to have someone his own size to chase around. Here is a picture of Chloe being Queen of the Mountain. I was trying to capture the rainbow in the back as well. We have had a couple wet days that provided some very beautiful rainbows.

Kolohe is getting his bath today, as he will be going home as well. Here is a picture of him hanging out in his kennel after breakfast.

We do want to take a moment to remind everyone that it is very important that your dogs are up to date on their immunizations, especially the Bordatella and the Parvo shots. WE can not make any acceptions or quarantine the dogs seperately from the others moving forward. It is difficult to manage, and not fair to your pets as they watch the others having fun and playing around. We also want to ensure all our guests are safe from transmitting anything to one another.
Mahalo for your understanding and co operation.

A weekend with Riley

Riley is our new member to the gang this week. Riley is only here for the weekend. He is a super fun French Bulldog. When he wimpers he sounds just like a baby. We hope to see this cute little fella in the future for a longer visit so he can have some quality playtime with the others.

Yesterday everyone seemed to mutually want to lounge around for most of the day. It was more like a kindergarten class at nap time. So, it wasn't very exciting. There were little spirts of playtime and when we went out there...but just a lazy day.

I did want to share this picture of Buddy. He looks just like my honey bear that Barry gave me. Isn't he cute?

Gone to the Birds...

Yesterday Lola and Cashmere returned. This is their 3rd visit with us. This time they brought their Birdie friend. This little Bird is super happy that we don't board cats. He stays in the Bed and breakfast area at night with the doggies, and during the day he is out listening to all the birds in the yard and just singing away.
Chloe is super happy to have Lola and Cashmere join us. Since the three met they have been playing all day. In this picture they are taking a break and enjoying the warm sun.

Buddy is just cruising on the run. He likes to just hang out smelling things and talking to me. He would rather not be bothered with the little dogs. He definitely loves to be brushed. He just is in heaven when I brush him.

Kolohe is still here, and would love to play with the other...but he forgets he is too big. But, he is becoming a very sweet fella. He loves hugs and to be talked to. We have to work on the fetch part. He reminds me of Scooby Doo sometimes. He is a good boy...although he lives up to his name sometimes. If you don't know what Kolohe means in Hawaiian, it means "mischievious".

Buddy is here

Finally! A new post.
Buddy is here and sweet as can be. He has actually been here for quite a few days. He just reminds me of a big Honey bear for some reason. He just loves to be cozy and get hugs. He was pretty sad the first couple of days missing his owners. But, he finally came out of his shell and has been playing with us. He mostly like to hang out and get scratches. I found a favorite spot behind the ear on the neck line. When you scratch him there, his leg goes like he is trying to kick start a motorcycle. We introduced him to Chloe, who is still here as her stay got extended. They both are a little older. I think they like hanging out together. They just do their thing. Here is a picture I caught of Chloe just rolling around getting dirty. Naughty girl.

Chloe had alot of fun while Ocean was here, but Ocean left over the weekend. We will miss Ocean very much as she just loved to play with everyone and got along with everyone. But, her and her owner moved back to the mainland to northern California.

Kolohe is back for a few days while his owners are in S. Korea. Would be cool if they could meet up with my son, but I know they will be busy touring with the other Master Tai Kwon Do instructors over there. Kolohe is learning new things and will continue to have training from Todd Wong. We are glad that it is working out for everyone.

I wanted to post a photo of two other guests who have since left, and that is Pebbles and Bamm Bamm. Two English bull dogs. They were super cute and a lot of fun. They loved the little swimming pool and the frisbee rings.
