Jasmine is going home

We are sad to say that Jasmine is going home a little early. Her new friends, Bella and Papito, will miss her very much. Jasmine was such a good guest. She listened very well, and was very well behaved, plus lots of fun. She has a bright personality that will be missed. We hope to see her again. She will be accompanying us to the airport tomorrow to pick up her owner. Jasmine is welcome here anytime.

Another day at the kennels

So just a quick entry. I wanted to share our festive chalk board drawing I did on the outside of where our guests stay, so they can be part of the Holidays as well. Today we did some work on the yard, and cleaned out the kennels. We also added a couple extra fun touches to the area. It is looking more and more homey for our guests.

Today Popito got a bath. He was pretty good about it.

Waggin Tails, Doggie Bed and Breakfast

Waggin Tails is an exclusive Dog Kennel service and more. Please visit our website at http://www.mauikennels.com/.

We wanted to create this blog to make entries for visitors to see what we offer, and so our guests owners can check in and see how their pets are doing.

Right now we have a 3 kennel area right next to the house that we call our Doggie Bed and breakfast. We are in the process of building our 10 kennels as you can see in the photo. We will keep the 3 kennels next to the house for future elderly dogs, and who need a little more TLC.

Our kennels are further along than pictured here. We are so excited to get them completed. We just have to put in the septic tank for the kennels. Grrr! I guess so they can flush their potties. Just kidding.

We get asked if we will build more. We definitely will not build bigger than the 10 kennels, and have the 3 Doggie Bed and Breakfast area. We feel it is important to stay smaller and more intimate so that we can give more attention to the dogs, and offer more services. A nice little exclusive and inclusive doggie resort. Each kennel will be themed. For example, one room with be the Firehouse room, one will be the police dog room, etc. Each kennel will have a webcam, if the owners would like to add it to their package stay so they can view their pet while they're away. We will have two huge runs for the dogs to play in as well. At a later date we will be building a walking park.

We have had several guests, but would first like to share our current guests and some activities. Here we have Jasmine. She is staying with us for 3 weeks. She is a lot of fun, and enjoys just running and playing. She is here from Lahaina. Her owner, James, took advantage of our park and shuttle. So, here is a bonus that we are doing to surprize James. My husband, is washing his truck so it is shiny for when we pick James up at the airport with Jasmine. She will be bathed and shiny too. The third picture is of Jasmine playing our other guest, Bella. Bella is here with

her buddy Popito. They are both having such fun playing and running around. They live in Haiku. They are staying with us for 3 weeks as well. So they all have gotten to know each other very well.
