Change of sites

Aloha everyone,
We will be using Facebook more for updates, photos, videos and postings. It is so much easier to upload and journal on regarding all our doggy guests. It helps us a lot as it takes a bit of time to upload videos and photos on Blog spot. We will keep blogspot, just in case, and write periodically.
Please add us to your friend list on Facebook. We are under "Waggin tails at Maui Kennels".
I just created a new video of our December guests. The link is on Facebook. Look for the You Tube link. You can also search the video on You Tube as Waggin Tails at Maui Kennels 3.
I hope this makes it easier for you.
Aloha

Aloha!!

Aloha all. It has been a while since I have been able to post, due to severe computer issues. But, now have a new computer and the right one this time. I got an IMac. Something I should have gotten a while ago, being I do videos and photography.

Anyhoo, I am working on a video to catch up on some missed photos that I wasn't able to post and will be updating soon more recent photos and current guests.

As you can imagine, we are fully booked over the Christmas Holidays. We currently have 11 guests. Choooo weee oooo weee oooo! and the total will be 12 at 830pm tonight.

We currently have Chewy and Roger, who are from the same household and are cuddly poodles. Well Roger is a beautiful black standard poodle, and Chewy is a small rusty colored poodle. They are a lot of fun. Roger is very terrified of thunder and lightning. I think I jinks him, as on their first night we had thunder and lightning. So, we let them have a special place inside for a bit to let them feels secure.

We also have Kaya, who is a sweet Doberman. But she has a hurt leg, and has to have it slinged up when she goes out. We limit her play with others so that she doesn't over do it and hurt herself more. But, she enjoys watching the other and giving kissed through the fence.

Then there is Patches and Jake. They are also from the same house. They are a lot of fun, and very sweet. Patches was a little shy at first, but by the end of the day and giving her a few treats...she warmed up to us pretty good. They love to watch the TV.

Let's see, who did I forget...oh yes Cassidy. She is a return guest, and is on her way up. She is a beautiful sweet Basset Hound. Can't wait to see her again. Kona is also back. If you remember, Kona is the champion air swimmer. Click on the video to the right to see Kona in action. Kona is very happy as we have another fella here that has turned out to be a perfect playmate...and his name is Boddah. He is also a Maltese. They almost look like twins, especially now since they have been play hard together and getting dirty. Boddah came with his two buddies, Birdie and and Bogie. Birdie is a very beautiful Pointer, and Bogie is a Handsome Black Lab. They definitely are enjoying the play area and running around. Bogie has decided that the water trough is his swimming pool. Sometimes even Boddah will jump in the water trough and sit in there. Silly dogs!
I will continue more after Maka comes to stay. Barry is picking Maka up tonight. So, I am hoping to follow up with some fun photos tomorrow.
Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday vacations.
Aloha
..OH yes, I also wanted to add that I will start posting on Facebook as well. So please visit us on Facebook under Waggin Tails on Maui.

Aloha

Aloha all! Hope everyone is surviving the Christmas rushes and enjoy your holiday season.

I wanted to just put a note in and again apologize for not being able to keep updated with the photos and on goings with our Doggy guests. I was hoping that I was able to solve the issues with my desktop, and it just doesn't seem be working out.

But our doggy guests are having a great time. Right now we have Buddy back, and Chloe is still here for a couple more weeks. We also have Grizzly, Kona, Bella and Pepito. Tomorrow, Palu is coming back to join the crew. Kona has found some comfort in sitting in the water trough. I put the turtle pool in the play area, and he'll check it out now and then, but he likes the water tough...silly boy. Grizzly and Buddy get along very well. It's nice to see Grizzly playing. He also hangs out with Chloe too. Buddy loves to chase Chloe around too, and she really enjoys herself too. Pepito just likes to sit back and watch everyone else chase each other around. Him and Bella are here for a few more days. Pepito in serious need of a bath. He is so not white anymore. Kona is definitely not white anymore. I think Bella would be happy if her sweetheart, "Bear" was here too. But, she is enjoying relaxing and taking it easy.

As soon as I am able I will get some more photos up. But all you doggy parents who are away right now, don't worry cuz we are having fun with all of your pets...and I know they are having a blast as well.

Aloha!

Catching up

Aloha Everyone!
Just catching up with the blog, between power outage and my desk top catching a horrible virus...has prohibited me from posting photos.
I am hoping this laptop can do the trick until I get my computer fixed or get a new one....
Anyhoo........
Maile and Hula have since left and we miss them. They were very fun girls, well behaved and played very well. Kolohe has also left, but we know we will see him again soon.Chloe was happy to meet Pepito. But, she also got to play with a puppy, named "Puppy", who came here for Doggy day care. The puppy definitely gave her some excersize.
We also have a couple very fun and very cool dogs, Grizzly and Kona. Grizzly will be here for a while. Kona is a white lab who just moved here from Georgia. He loves loves loves to play ball...or play anything. Him and Grizzly are starting to hang out together. They both have mellow personalities. Chloe and Pepito just cruise around with them, when we are not playing ball or chase. Bella, has some sore hips...so she loves her special place under the tree to lay in the sun and relax. We want to make sure the others don't cause her any discomfort as she likes to try and play.

Maile and Hula join us.

Maile and Hula are our newests guests who are here for a few days while their mom and dad are on Oahu. They are super sweet girls. Hula likes to talk, and Maile loves to play fetch. She is very very good a bringing the ball back and puts it right at your feet. They love their fish oil vitamins. I have never seen a dog who eats them like treats. Certainly makes it easy.

Lola and Cashmere left yesterday. Chloe is very sad about that. She is a little mopey today. She had a blast playing with them, especially Cashmere. They would just play and chase each other. It was pretty cute. But, Chloe will have Pepito in a couple days to play with as Bella and Pepito are returning. I know Pepito will be excited to have someone his own size to chase around. Here is a picture of Chloe being Queen of the Mountain. I was trying to capture the rainbow in the back as well. We have had a couple wet days that provided some very beautiful rainbows.

Kolohe is getting his bath today, as he will be going home as well. Here is a picture of him hanging out in his kennel after breakfast.

We do want to take a moment to remind everyone that it is very important that your dogs are up to date on their immunizations, especially the Bordatella and the Parvo shots. WE can not make any acceptions or quarantine the dogs seperately from the others moving forward. It is difficult to manage, and not fair to your pets as they watch the others having fun and playing around. We also want to ensure all our guests are safe from transmitting anything to one another.
Mahalo for your understanding and co operation.

A weekend with Riley

Riley is our new member to the gang this week. Riley is only here for the weekend. He is a super fun French Bulldog. When he wimpers he sounds just like a baby. We hope to see this cute little fella in the future for a longer visit so he can have some quality playtime with the others.

Yesterday everyone seemed to mutually want to lounge around for most of the day. It was more like a kindergarten class at nap time. So, it wasn't very exciting. There were little spirts of playtime and when we went out there...but just a lazy day.

I did want to share this picture of Buddy. He looks just like my honey bear that Barry gave me. Isn't he cute?

Gone to the Birds...

Yesterday Lola and Cashmere returned. This is their 3rd visit with us. This time they brought their Birdie friend. This little Bird is super happy that we don't board cats. He stays in the Bed and breakfast area at night with the doggies, and during the day he is out listening to all the birds in the yard and just singing away.
Chloe is super happy to have Lola and Cashmere join us. Since the three met they have been playing all day. In this picture they are taking a break and enjoying the warm sun.

Buddy is just cruising on the run. He likes to just hang out smelling things and talking to me. He would rather not be bothered with the little dogs. He definitely loves to be brushed. He just is in heaven when I brush him.

Kolohe is still here, and would love to play with the other...but he forgets he is too big. But, he is becoming a very sweet fella. He loves hugs and to be talked to. We have to work on the fetch part. He reminds me of Scooby Doo sometimes. He is a good boy...although he lives up to his name sometimes. If you don't know what Kolohe means in Hawaiian, it means "mischievious".

Buddy is here

Finally! A new post.
Buddy is here and sweet as can be. He has actually been here for quite a few days. He just reminds me of a big Honey bear for some reason. He just loves to be cozy and get hugs. He was pretty sad the first couple of days missing his owners. But, he finally came out of his shell and has been playing with us. He mostly like to hang out and get scratches. I found a favorite spot behind the ear on the neck line. When you scratch him there, his leg goes like he is trying to kick start a motorcycle. We introduced him to Chloe, who is still here as her stay got extended. They both are a little older. I think they like hanging out together. They just do their thing. Here is a picture I caught of Chloe just rolling around getting dirty. Naughty girl.

Chloe had alot of fun while Ocean was here, but Ocean left over the weekend. We will miss Ocean very much as she just loved to play with everyone and got along with everyone. But, her and her owner moved back to the mainland to northern California.

Kolohe is back for a few days while his owners are in S. Korea. Would be cool if they could meet up with my son, but I know they will be busy touring with the other Master Tai Kwon Do instructors over there. Kolohe is learning new things and will continue to have training from Todd Wong. We are glad that it is working out for everyone.

I wanted to post a photo of two other guests who have since left, and that is Pebbles and Bamm Bamm. Two English bull dogs. They were super cute and a lot of fun. They loved the little swimming pool and the frisbee rings.

New Video

Okay, you should see on the right side bar a cute white face of one of our doggy guests, Reagan. There should be a little play icon on there. I have been working on this video for some time. Not just putting the photos together and editing, and music, but finding the right program that was user friendly and adaptable to many forms of media. Anyhoo, if your pet isn't in there....be patient. I have tons of photos, and will continue to make little videos to share. This is only volume one.
Hope you enjoy it. Let me know.

I will be posting again later today or first thing tomorrow. We are pretty busy. But, today Bear leaves, as does Mimi and Koa. Then tomorrow Reagan goes home as well. I have to post a picture of our two new guests, Pepples and Bamm Bamm. Two cute English Bulldogs. Too bad Gus wasn't here (our other English Bulldog guest, who loves the red chair and swinging from the little tire).

Aloha

Ocean is back

Today Ocean came to stay with us for a little over a week. Good thing, cause Chloe needed a buddy to play with. All the other guests are a little too big. Reagan is her size and they play well too, but Reagan is here for a shorter time. Reagan is already getting her lovely white coat dirty from running around and play with Chloe, but she is having a great time.

We are still full and having fun with all of our doggy guests. We also have Sasha and Titus staying with us here at Waggin Tails. They are definitely full of energy and love to run run run and chase each other. They play best along with each other.
Also, Mimi and Koa are still here. They will be with us until tomorrow. They just love the new little area that we put up. They just cruise and enjoy the shade. Every once in a while Mimi will coax Koa to play. They are good about walking on the leash so we take them on walks around the property.

Sprinkles and Buttons are still with us as well and will be here until November 1st.

And we can't forget Bear. He is my buddy. We found that his favorite place is under the tree on the run leash. He can watch everything and he likes to peak at Tiffany now and then. His sweetheart Nani has left, so he is just cruisin and relaxing.

Kolohe left yesterday. He will be back next month while his owners go to S. Korea. Todd Wong came up and trained with him and it went very well. Hopefully, Todd will get to work with him more in the future.

We should be playing poker.

I say we should be playing poker because this weekend we ended up with another full house. =0P

I am just going to call this the October class of 2009. Nani is still here with us until Sunday. She is having fun. We think she has a huge crush on "Bear". Bear visits us quite a bit from Lahaina. Good thing Bella isn't here, because Bear is her sweetheart. Nani has also been flirting with Kolohe...and so has our Lili too. I think they like Kolohe's big muscles or something. Kolohe is a first time guest. We are working with him on some training and learning to play well with others. He is a very good boy, and is eager to learn.
We have Sprinkles and Buttons back, and they are just cruisin'. Sprinkles can play well with Nani as long as Buttons isn't in the area. I think Buttons gets jealous. But that's okay, cuz Buttons just hangs out with me. She is a very good listener. Hmmm, did I forget someone....oh yes, sweet little Chloe is still here. She mostly likes to watch the others play, and hang out with us too. I think she is enjoying her time on her vacation. She definitely tries hard to escape...but we were prepared as her owner warned us ahead of time. It's okay if she tries in her kennel. She can't really dig to far on the slick cement floor, but I guess it gives her something to do for a minute or two. She does love to watch Family Guy and listen to Mozart. I can't forget to mention that we also have Mimi and Koa back. The groosome twosome. They are testing out the new play area for us. So, we have 8 guests through the weekend. They are all fun and different and keep us busy. So enjoy the photos of the "October class of 2009".

Full House

Well we had a full house this weekend. A couple return guests came to stay with us. We had Roper, who was just a little furball. We nick name him "Humperdink". You can't imagine why. =0P
We also had Limu. She was a very sweet 9 year old black lab. She tolerated Roper. It was pretty funny.

Of couse we have Chloe and Nani is still with us. I know it isn't the greatest picture of Nani, but had to post a rare moment. She is snoozing in the little house in her kennel. She was zonked out from all the playing, running around and excitement. It took several tries to get it, cause I would try and sneak up quietly to get it and she would pop an eye open.
We also have Buttons and Sprinkles back for a couple of weeks. They were pretty excited to be back. All the dogs have been curious about our new additions to Olinda. We have 21 goats that we put in the gulge area to graze. I will have to post a couple pictures later. I think they are really cool to look at and watch.

Nani

We have a new guest Nani. She is having some fun. She loves to run. Definitely full of energy. Here she is laughing at me while I am trying to take her picture.
So Nani is enjoying a lot of one on one time with us as Baxter, Taj, Kona, and Ellie have all left. But we will have many more for Nani to play with as we have Cloe, Limu, and Roper coming. I know we can't wait until they come as Nani needs four legs to chase around. Plus, she like to chase tennis balls...but, like to watch us get them. Silly girl.

Baxter was almost solo!

Taj and Kona left, as well as Mahina yesterday. Baxter really had fun hanging out with all of them. Especially Mahina. He was sweet on her. But, he had a blast chasing after Taj and Kona when they got into their running around modes. I know Baxter didn't mind it too too much as he had more one on one time with us. I found another squeaky toy in our dog toy treasures. I figured since he fell in love with my purple squeaky cow, that he would like the squeaky bone...and I was right. He actually wore me out from throwing it.

I figured I would see how he would be with our Piggy Tiffany...and they got along pretty good. She chased him a little bit, but I think they both liked that they had some company. BUT...then we got a call! Baxters dreams came true. One of our return guests from over the summer, Ellie, needed a last minute stay. She is super super cute and a perfect size and playmate for Baxter. He is so excited. Look at Ellie's cute little face. She also has the longest eye lashes I have ever seen on a dog. They remind me of the eyes on the characters from "Who ville".

4's company

Sorry everyone for the delay for a new entry on the blog. We had a day of power outage due to a fire in the forest below us. A powerline went down and not only did it cause power loss, but it caused a fire. The firefighters and helicopters did a great job, and the fire didn't make it up to the tree tops. Only a couple acres burned.
Anyhoo, the doggies have been having fun. Kona and Taj came for a four day weekend. They will be leaving today. This is their second visit, and they will be coming back for the holidays. During this visit, their owner took some friend hiking into Haleakala Crater all the way to the cabin. That is a 12 mile hike. Sheese!

We also have Mahina. She is having a blast running around and playing. She is here until tomorrow. She is a very sweet girl.

And we have Baxter. He will still be with us for a bit longer. He is going to miss everyone when they leave. He has finally broken out of his shell, and gets in on the chase. I knew he would love playing with Kona and Taj. He also loves to hang out with Mahina. But, when Kona and Taj get in chase mode, Baxter is chasing right behind.

Here is a picture of all four of them. This was the only way I could get them together, by calling them to the gate and teasing them to go out. Tee hee!

Funky Cold "Mahina"

Yesterday we had Mahina join us here at Waggin Tails. She is super cute and has all the attention to herself from the other two boys here, Baxter and Sato. I think Sato is sweet on her. Baxter and Sato have warmed up to each other and have short burst of chasing each other around. Baxter found the purple cow Squeaky toy, and is having fun making it squeak. Glad that he is having fun.

Mahina will probably be sad tomorrow, as tomorrow is Sato's day to go home. We will take him to meet up with his owner at the Costco in Kahului.

Baxter and Mahina will be joined by Taj and Kona on Friday morning. They should all get along very well as they seem to all have the same sweet personalities.

Monday, September 28, 2009

Baxter is here!

Baxter joined us yesterday. He is a super cute little fella. He loves to cuddle. He is pretty shy though. Sato and Baxter kinda keep to themselves. They both have similar shy personalities, but Baxter did let down the walls a little bit and try to play with Sata. I know as time goes on they will end up chasing each other around. Sato has made is favorite place on top of the play area platform. He loves to lay in the sun. Baxter likes the red cover thing that we have in the play area.

Tomorrow we will have a girl, Mahina, join Sato and Baxter. She will be here for a week. I am sure she will liven the boys up. Also, on Thursday we will have Kona and Taj back for a few days. It will be fun.

Saturday, September 26, 2009

Kona and Taj have left the building.

Kona and Taj left us yesterday, but will be back over the holidays. I didn't really realize how much I missed them until this morning when we got up to feed everyone. They were fun and very well behaved dogs. We had a routine of racing to the play area and racing back to the kennels for feeding time.

Bella, Pepito, and Sato are now the 3 musketeers. Bella and Sato are having fun playing with each other and have the play area all to themselves. Pepito got another bath today, so again, he has been hanging out with us. Here he is dancing for a treat. Isn't he cute. Unfortunately, Bella and Pepito will be leaving us today...but Baxter will be here tomorrow. We may have 2 more guests this week, depending on if their shots are all up to date.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Kona's fun!

Kona has found a new love. The sprinkler. I found a cute little sprinkler at Walmart, and Kona loves to chase the spouts, as you see in this clip. She will be there forever chasing the water if I let her, but the ground gets pretty soggy after a bit. But...it is too cute.

We still have the same group for a few more days. Bella, Pepito, Kona, Taj, and Sato. Good group of dogs.

This weekend we will have a new guest, Baxster, joining us. Hurray!

We are already getting calls for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so make your reservations now.

Saturday, September 19, 2009

Now it's time to say good bye....

Today we had to say goodbye to Lola and Cashmere. They were so cute and fun to play with. Unfortunately, Mimi and Koa didn't get along too well with them...so they had limited playtime with the others. We still love them though. They just have to play with each other only. But, today they go home as well. Congratulations to their owner who just had a new baby girl.

We are happy to say that Bella and Pepito have extended their stay with us until the 26th. We decided that a bath was very much needed. Pepito is a little tannish, but will be shiny white soon. Here is a clip of Bella getting her bath. We found that when you scratch her in the right spot during her bath she does the hula.

We still have Sato, Kona and Taj. Those three have bonded well and play very well together. Sato has picked up talking and singing while here. He will hold a conversation with me sometimes. Too funny. Kona and Taj are so sweet. They are quite the lovers.

We want to remind everyone who are looking to board with us, and who have boarded with us. Please let us know if there are any life changing situations. If very much affects your pets and it gives us the heads up too. Dogs are very sensitive to deaths, relocation, new births, and company staying for extended amounts of time.

Aloha

Playtime

Here is a little clip of all our doggy guest playing together. They were having so much fun...and again...I had to watch out so I didn't get tooo run over.

Party of Five!

We still have our group of Taj, Kona, Sato, Bella, and Pepito. Everyone has settled in and are all playing well together. Sato has really loosened up and has gotten to know us and trust much more. He has also warmed up to the other dogs and has been playing well with Bella. Pepito hangs out with the big dogs sometimes, but mostly cruises around with us. The weather has continued to be nice, and the dogs are really enjoying it. I can imagine how hot it is in Kihei and Lahaina. It has been warm, but I put the mist hose on to help keep the dogs cool. They especially like sunset time as it cools down. They get their last "running" around in, before they head in to settle down to Family Guy.

Saturday, September 12, 2009

Mr. Sato is here

Sato joined us on Thursday. He is a pretty shy dog. Finally today he loosened up a little and play a big with Taj and Kona. He is warming up to us more too. He is pretty close with his owner, so he definitely misses him. But we are happy that he is starting to get more comfortable with us and the other doggy guests.
Yesterday we took Koa home. We miss him. He just loves to play with any dog, and I loved him paling around with me. We picked up his owners and took them home to Kihei.

Bella and Pepito are still here for a few more days. We noticed Bella put on a little weight coming this time. But, she is such a sweety...and of course so is Pepito. They listen very well and have such a great time here. Their owner is expecting a new baby soon. She just found out it was a boy. So, we can tell that Bella and Pepito knows something new is going on. But congrats to the family.

It was a beautiful day today. Lots of playtime. Barry is working hard on the second play area. We are pretty excited to get that completed.

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Koa is back, as well as Bella and Pepito

We said goodbye to Buddy. We miss him, but his owner has emailed and said Buddy is happy and has never looked better. We are happy to hear that. Kanu left us as well. We were hoping to see him again this weekend, but he called in sick. Koa will miss him as they were both together at the last stay here. I think Kanu might have played a little to hard with Palu. Palu is home too. He was such a good boy.
(This picture is of Buddy, Koa, Hana, Kanu, and Hapa)

So our current guests are Kona and Taj (from the same home). Pretty dogs, one collie and a cattle healer mix. We have Bella and Pepito again...HURRAY!! Too bad Bear wasn't here. Bear and Bella are boyfriend and girlfriend. But Pepito mostly hangs out with us too. Koa is having fun with the other dogs. It is nice when everyone plays well. Today we will be getting another guest "Sato".

Saturday, September 5, 2009

Bull "Dozer"

We have a fun new guest Dozer. He loves to play with everyone. He fit right in with our guests. OH also Koa is back. I think I mentioned that. So everyone has a friend to play with and every dog plays with each other. Dozer is only here for the weekend, but Koa is back for over a week while his parents are on their honeymoon.

Tomorrow Dozer and Buddy will be leaving. That will be sad. We have been very fortunate with having some fabulous doggy guests.

4-1=3

Koa went home yesterday but only for a couple days as he will be back on Friday for another 10 days. He is missed the little sweetheart. When he wasn't playing he would be my little buddy. Speaking of Buddy...right now we are down to 3 guests, Buddy, Palu, and Kanu. I think this morning was the first time that I saw them slow down a bit from playing. I think they are wearing themselves out finally. These three get along very well. They have manage to take the small orange ball and do a three way tug o war. When I try and get a photo they get distracted and let go. But, I am determined to get it. It is pretty funny.

This weekend we are booked solid. Just realized it is because it is labor day weekend. But, we have a fun group of dogs this weekend. My cousin Kathy is coming from the mainland, so we will get her in there with the doggies during playtime too. LOL, and she thought she was coming for sunshine and Mai Tai's. =0)

Here are a couple fun photos. We have Kanu who was coming up to see what I was doing. Silly boy. Then we have Buddy trying to wink for me, and Palu smiling for the camera.

Monday, August 31, 2009

Palu is here!

Today we had a new arrival, Palu. He is a mix breed. He is a good size dog. I put him out to go play, and he bonded right away with Kanu. I am happy about that, as they have the same energy level. Kanu is like the energizer bunny and the others can't keep up. But, Palu can. They have been running around like crazy. Here is a little clip. I wish it was longer, but it seems as though I can't put up clips that are too long. But, I have to watch out when I am in the run during playtime when they are running around as they just go and don't pay attention, and I get barreled over. ...and that's alot of dog when they are at full speed.

Dogs dogs dogs

Sorry everyone, for a delayed entry. For some reason I haven't been able to upload anything on our sight.

Anyhoo, we were sad to see Reagan leave yesterday. We know she had a very good time. She came white, turned a little brown, but went home white again. She had a lot of fun playing with all the dogs, even bigger than her. She loved Buddy, even if he was bigger than her.

Yesterday we got a few new dogs. We got Kanu, a handsome Boxer who will be with us for awhile, and another Koa with Barron. Koa is also a boxer, but a she boxer. Kanu and her just hit it off. I was telling Barry it was like an Alien coming in and was super happy that there was another of their kind when they met. It was pretty funny. OR maybe it was just love at first sight. Koa is a brindle boxer, and Kanu is a handsome brown boxer. We can't leave out Ole, Barron. This fella is about 12 years old. He is having such a great time. He has been playing with all the dogs as if he was a pup again. He definitely shed alot alot alot. Barron and Koa, are only here for the weekend. Their owners are from Makawao, and decided to go away for the weekend for their 12 year anniversary. It's too bad that it is such a short visit as Kanu absolutely loves Koa.

But, lets not forget our other guests. BUDDY, is still here and is the "Playmate" of the month. LOL. He gets along with everyone and encourages them to play and do tug of war. He is super cool. The original Koa is still here, shorty is what I call him, and he is just having fun being part of the pack and playing. I love to take him on walks or just hang out. He is such a lover. We can't forget Hapa, the youngest of the pack. Hapa just loves to play and is always happy. Hapa is leaving us today...booo. Hapa and Buddy are pals.

Hapa's in the House!

Hapa is back. This is Hapa's second visit with Waggin Tails. He has grown since his last visit. He is a very nice puppy. He came right in and got along perfectly with our current guests. Here he is being his cute self.

I found it

I found it. So here is a quick clip of our recent and current doggy guests.

Rudy and Ocean left

Now our group of five is to a group of three...at least until tomorrow. We took Rudy home. Before that, Rudy got a bath. He played a lot with everyone and...well got a little dirty. Rudy reminded me of the Ewoks from Starwars. Ocean has also left too. I apologize, I was calling Ocean a he, when he is actually a she. But "SHE" was definitely the kissing bandit here. Buddy misses playing with her. But, Buddy still has his friend Koa here and they love chasing each other. Regan is here as well, and everyday she get more and more into the fun. I think she likes being the only girl now. As I am writing, I can see all three of them running in circles after each other.
I have been meaning to put a little clip up, but I hid my little camera from myself.

The new Brat Pack

We have a full house this week, through the weekend. Every dog has a buddy and every buddy plays with every body. We picked up "Buddy" yesterday, and today we had "Rudy" join us. All dogs are very compatible and constantly playing. When they take a break, they all hang out together under the platform. It is fun to watch them play. "Koa" is having a blast getting "Buddy" and "Ocean" to chase him all over the play yard. They all have learned to get on top of the doggy platform. Believe it or not some doggies just don't get it, to use the ramp. Yesterday Koa and Buddy were playing "King of the Mountain".

As you can see in the picture "Ocean" is kissing "Rudy". Doesn't Rudy have the look of "oooh you have cooties"? Ocean has this thing of kissing all the other dogs right on the mouth. He is the "Ocean lover". =0)
The next picture, is the group all just pal ing around. All of these dogs are very well behaved and all seem to have the same temperment. It is very fun and cool, as there isn't one of them that tries to be the dominating Alpha dog. They all get along very well. (From front to back we have the return of "Koa", then "Regan", Stubby "Buddy" (cuz he has a stubby tail), and "Ocean". You can almost see (towards the front) Rudy poking in. But, they all pack around together.
I will try and get a clip up later today or tomorrow.

Reagan is here

Last night we picked up our newest guest, Reagan. So fluffy and white...so had to make sure I got the photo now. Reagan is already having a blast playing with Ocean. But, don't worry mom and dad, Reagan will be bathed before she goes home. Tomorrow Ocean and Reagan will have a couple other playmates, Buddy from the west side of the island and the return of "KOA"....Hurray! Koa's owners are going to the mainland to get married. They are from Kihei and will be taking advantage of our pick up service this time. Everyone will have a fun few days.
